The Never-ending March of the Liberal Agenda
It will never be enough. Remember years ago, they said “we just want to be able to visit our sick partner in the hospital.” They got that.
Then the request was “We just want to have the same benefits as married people; give us civil unions.” They got that.
Then it was “we just want to be able to share our love in marriage.” They got that.
Then came “pastors MUST perform the marriage ceremony when we demand it.” They got that.
The next step was “You WILL endorse our relationship by providing goods and services we demand. If not, we will sue you and threaten you and your family until your business goes under.” They got that too.
But that wasn’t enough either: “Your company WILL go public and show support for our agenda. You will NOT remain neutral. If you do, we will attack your company, it\’s leadership and their families until you do.” That has been done.
And now we have the latest demands: “You WILL teach your children that biological gender is a myth and science is only an antiquated suggestion. You WILL teach them that our relationship is good and pure and valid. You WILL teach them to speak out in favor of our sexual choices. You WILL teach them to call us by whatever name/pronoun we choose that day. You WILL teach them to hate God and His Word. If you do not, we will go to war until you lose your job, lose your kids, and lose your life.”
This is all just another logical step in the never-ending war against God. And remember: that is what this is all about. It isn’t ultimately about equal rights (which they’ve actually always had; a topic for another discussion, perhaps). The world hates the Lord, with a passion. And they will war against Him and His love until the day they die or the day they repent and God rescues them.
